Technique	My work is based on traditional marbling methods with an experimental twist. Each piece is a mono print produced by floating water-based paints, either acrylic or gouache, on a thickened liquid size made from carrageen moss. The colours are then raked and combed to create intricate designs. Additional effects can be achieved by manipulating the paper as it is laid onto the size in order to transfer the design.
